General

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Ultimate Car Accessories through our website, social media channels, and in store.

By placing an order with Ultimate Car Accessories, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Orders & Payment

Orders are processed on a first come, first served basis.

Orders placed through our website, social media channels, or other sales platforms will only be confirmed once full payment has been received and cleared.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order where there is an issue with stock availability, pricing, payment, or suspected fraud. If this occurs, any payment received will be refunded.

 

Shipping & Handling

Orders are generally processed within 3 business days. If items are in stock, they are usually dispatched the same day or next business day.

Dispatch and delivery time frames are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We cannot guarantee dispatch or delivery dates for out of stock, special order, or back ordered items.

Ultimate Car Accessories is not responsible for delays caused by third party couriers or events outside our reasonable control. However, we will assist customers where possible by following up with the courier on their behalf.

Customers must notify us of any special delivery requirements at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise requested, orders may be shipped with Authority to Leave. If signature on delivery is required, this must be clearly requested in the order notes or at the time of purchase.

If a parcel is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, incorrectly addressed by the customer, or undeliverable due to customer error, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply, along with any return freight or re-delivery costs incurred.

All goods are checked and packaged carefully before dispatch. If a parcel arrives damaged, customers should notify us as soon as possible and, where practical, inspect the parcel before accepting delivery.

Where goods are damaged in transit, we may require photos, packaging evidence, and any other information reasonably required to lodge a courier or transit claim.


Change of Mind Returns

We may accept change of mind returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and in a resellable condition.

Change of mind returns and exchanges are subject to approval by Ultimate Car Accessories.

Approved change of mind returns or exchanges may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Original shipping charges are not refundable for change of mind returns.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns and exchanges.

Custom made, special order, clearance, sale, and discontinued items may not be eligible for change of mind return or exchange unless required by law.

 

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Not as Described Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details, a description of the issue, and clear photos where applicable.

Where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy depending on the nature of the issue. 

Remedies for faulty items will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

We may require the item to be returned for inspection or assessment before a remedy is approved, where permitted by law.

 

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges must not be sent back without prior approval from Ultimate Car Accessories.

Items returned without approval may be refused and returned to sender.

Refunds, replacements, and exchanges are processed once the returned item has been received and assessed.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.

 

Warranty

Certain products supplied by Ultimate Car Accessories may include an express warranty period stated in the product listing, packaging, invoice, or otherwise advised at the time of sale.

Any express warranty offered by Ultimate Car Accessories applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. 

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty and covered by an applicable warranty or consumer guarantee, we will provide a remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and any applicable warranty terms.

For online orders, customers may be asked to cover the initial return shipping cost for warranty assessment. If the item is confirmed to be faulty and entitled to a remedy, reasonable return shipping costs may be reimbursed.

For in store purchases, customers are responsible for returning the item to us for assessment unless otherwise required by law.

 

Headlight Globes Warranty

Headlight globes purchased from Ultimate Car Accessories include a 6 month express warranty against manufacturing faults, unless otherwise stated.

To make a warranty claim, customers must provide proof of purchase.

This express warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Product Fitment, Installation & Use

Customers are responsible for checking product suitability, compatibility, and fitment before purchase and before installation.

Products should be installed strictly in accordance with any supplied instructions. If no instructions are provided, we recommend installation by a qualified mechanic, auto electrician, or other suitable professional.

Ultimate Car Accessories is not liable for loss or damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, neglect, or use contrary to instructions or intended purpose, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

We are not responsible for labor costs, workshop costs, diagnostic costs, vehicle hire, loss of income, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or installation of a product, except where required by law.

Some products may be intended for off road, show, display, competition, or private property use only and may not comply with road laws or regulations in every state or territory. Customers are responsible for checking local legal requirements before purchase and use.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ultimate Car Accessories excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or otherwise as required by law.
