Refund & Exchange Policy
At Ultimate Car Accessories, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. This Refund & Exchange Policy explains when returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims may be accepted. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges
We may accept change of mind returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, uninstalled, in its original packaging, and in a resellable condition. All change of mind returns and exchanges are subject to approval by Ultimate Car Accessories.
Where a change of mind return or exchange is approved, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Original shipping charges are not refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Sale, discounted, clearance, special order, and custom items may not be eligible for change of mind return or exchange unless required by law.
Faulty, Defective, Incorrect, or Not as Described Items
If an item is faulty, defective, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, proof of purchase, and clear photos or videos where applicable.
Where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy depending on the nature of the issue. We may require the item to be returned for inspection or assessment before a remedy is approved, where permitted by law.
Warranty
Certain products supplied by Ultimate Car Accessories may include an express warranty period stated in the product listing, packaging, invoice, or otherwise advised at the time of sale. Where we offer an express warranty, it applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
As a general guide, many products sold by Ultimate Car Accessories include a 30-day express warranty against manufacturing faults, unless otherwise stated. This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
For online orders, customers may be asked to cover the initial return shipping cost for warranty assessment. If the item is confirmed to be faulty and entitled to a remedy, reasonable return shipping costs may be reimbursed.
For in-store purchases, customers are responsible for returning the item to us for inspection unless otherwise required by law.
Headlight Globes Warranty
Headlight globes purchased from Ultimate Car Accessories include a 6-month express warranty against manufacturing faults, unless otherwise stated. To make a claim, the faulty globe must be returned with valid proof of purchase. This express warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Items Not Eligible for Change of Mind Return
We generally do not accept change of mind returns for items that have been installed, used, damaged after delivery, misused, incorrectly installed, specially ordered, custom made, clearance, or sold with a disclosed defect. However, this does not affect any rights you may have if the item is faulty, not as described, or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
Items Damaged During Transit
All items are inspected and packaged carefully before dispatch. If your parcel arrives damaged, appears tampered with, or arrives with missing or incorrect items, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the parcel, packaging, and item.
Where goods are damaged in transit, we may investigate with the courier and request supporting information. If the item is confirmed to have been damaged in transit, supplied incorrectly, or lost, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, exchange, or refund where applicable.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
